
My all new Veggie & Vegan QUICKIES Cookbook is here...


I always get so excited when my tried and tested recipes finally make it into one of my books. I entertain a lot, and having reliable and versatile veggie and vegan recipes makes it easy to spoil my friends and guests.
This book started when I still owned Vanilla Zulu Cooking School. There was a call in the market to teach vegetarians and vegans how to have fun in their kitchens and with their menus. Plant-based cuisine is trending, and more and more people are having meat-free meals, even if they aren't necessarily fully vegan or vegetarian. Quick, easy, healthy, delicious recipes that could be on a fancy restaurant menu are essential to culinary happiness! I got to work. We already had a six-week Ultimate Chef Skills Course; I had to convert the content to be suitable for a plant-based diet. It's fabulous to know how to serve up all the classics but make those accessible to the vegan palate.
I found that more and more restaurants, hotels, lodges, cafes and homes were desperate to adapt sauces, bread, pastries, starters, mains and desserts. And this is my superpower! Converting the recipes was easy, and tasting the creations even more so. I perfected them and then started running the classes. Success! So, this is my favourite collection of those recipes, and I hope you love them as much as I do!
