What You’ll Learn

In this session, we dive into the heart of street-side favourites. You will learn to make quick, nutritious, and flavour-packed meals that prove high-end Asian cuisine can be achievable, budget-friendly, and perfect for your weekly rotation.

Menu We Will Cook four of these...

1) Handmade Dumplings: Master creating perfect dumplings from scratch. You’ll learn the art of the filling and those impressive "cheffy" pleats that make these parcels a showstopper. Remember, there are so many types of dumplings, I'll show you a few options and you can choose what suits you best. We will also make our own dumpling wrappers!

2) Chiang Mai Chicken Curry: handmade Chiang Mai curry paste the authentic way, and then the quick way. I'll then show you how to transform it into a decadent chicken curry served with fragrant lime and coconut rice and topped with crunchy noodles for that authentic texture.

3) Perfect Karaage Chicken: Discover the techniques for the ultimate Japanese fried chicken. We'll achieve that iconic, golden "suntanned" crunch and pair it with a signature spicy dipping sauce but without the stress or the mess.

4) Caramelised Pork Belly with fragrant nut bling in Betel Leaf - cook belly the traditional way to get it perfectly sticky like caramel.  Then we blend it with roasted nuts, fragrant lime leaf, ginger and shallot and roll it into the perfect ball...served in fresh betel leaf.

Salted Caramel Mango: A grand "fabulous" finale! This luscious, light dessert balances the sweetness of mango with a salted caramel twist—the perfect end to an Asian feast.
